Weekly Quiz for Chemical Reactions Unit
The weekly quiz that we took yesterday was fairly easy. The material contained questions about driving forces, chemical equations, balancing equations, and solubility rules. The quiz was not very difficult, yet it was kinda confusing. It took me a minute to understand what I was being asked, so I had a difficult time processing the quiz at first. Also, there were a couple questions that I was unsure about, so I just had to guess on them. The quiz was only 11 questions, so missing a few will not have a huge effect on my grade.

I agree that the problems could've been more straightforward, but I was prepared since it was discussed during lecture what kinds of problems we would actually see on exams. If you want some practice on this, I would advise to veer away from the internet and use more of the test prep content posted on Schoology (it is there for our benefit). I have so far been unable to find anything more than simplistic, straightforward problems online (excepting, of course, the really kooky websites), so I wouldn't head there for practice unless you're prepared to spend hours searching for more complex practice problems.
ReplyDeleteI agree the problems did seem a little tricky but it kind of came to you after a while of didactic thinking. Overall not too bad of a quiz though!
ReplyDeleteIt was very confusing to me. Not on the easier side of quizzes we've taken this far, in my opinion. It was a great thing that it was only 11 questions.
