Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)

Found in both Eastern Deciduous Forest and Tall Grass Prairie

Uses:

  • Snakebites, spiderbites (root tea)
  • Toothache (chew root, root tea)
  • Burns, hard-to heal sores (root tea as a wash)
  • Flea bites (tincture)
  • Bactericidal (poultice or tea)
