Found in both Eastern Deciduous Forest and Tall Grass Prairie

Uses:

  • Diarrhea (root tea)
  • Astringent to stop bleeding (tincture)
  • Pain relief (tincture or root tea)
  • Toothache (root tea)
  • Dermatitis (root tea used as a wash)
